Indigo Club

Over recent months the Pioneers have been enjoying the friendly atmosphere of The Mission in Danbury at their bi-monthly ‘Indigo Club’ which is a fortnightly, church based social club for adults with learning difficulties in the area. The club is an opportunity to enjoy fun activities, meet with friends and learn about Jesus. It meets at Danbury Mission between 7.15 and 8.30pm.

After the meeting on Tuesday 4th July, Reece said….. “The Danbury Mission on Tuesday was good, we do colouring and we do the Lord’s Prayer and we have tea or coffee or Biscuits and we learn about Jesus Christ and I enjoyed the Evening because you get to meet new people and all the staff are nice to me.”

The Mission has an established connection being the location of our annual Christmas Party/Dinner and it is an ideal location to host inclusive, empowering community events such as indigo. The Mission are currently able to provide free transport for the Pioneers as it is part of their unconditional ‘Outreach’ into the community initiatives.
